City of Bell, CA parasites resign

A city manager, assitant city manager and police chief looted the city of Bell, CA (pop 38,000) for a combined $1.6 million a year.  The city mayor has accepted the resignations of these trough-dwellers .  They won't even get severance pay!  Victory for the people, right?  Wrong.

City Manager Robert Rizzo will be eligible for more than $880,000 in his first year of retirement alone.  I wonder who funds that pension?  The head of the California Foundation for Fiscal Responsibility, Marcia Fritz remarks, "I don't think there is anything illegal ... The system allows this," Fritz said. "It's all by the book."

Well, Marcia, the systems rigged, the books are cooked and legality is now a completely subjective idea.  What  Goldman -Sachs  did/does is not "illegal " as long as you pay the right people, have a complicit legislature and a fully owned SEC.

Unfortunately, crime does  pay , especially when you're a member of the largest criminal enterprise in history; government(s) in the U.S.
