Go to cnn.com or foxnews.com and try to find a link to any WikiLeaks-Afghanistan Papers story.  Good luck, because it seems that this story has been thrown down the memory hole.  CNN is flaming the race war with the Shirley Sherrod non-story Fox is shooting fish in a barrel with the ‘news’ that Rangel is a corrupt politician (who knew?).  Even the pro-intervention pieces hinting at expanding the ‘war’ due to Pakastani involvement with the Taliban have disappeared.  Granted, these sites update content every few minutes so there may be some future blurb on Pfc. Manning being sent to the gallows.  But in aggregate, this story is done as far as the government mouthpieces are concerned.

UPDATE:  Now the tactic is to demonize WikiLeaks, Assange and focus the debate on the leak itself and not the content .
