People are Stupid
A few days ago, there was an uproar because Amazon was selling a self-published e-book, titled "The Pedophiles Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child-Lover's Code of Conduct". (No, this book wasn't written by Pentagon employees, though I'm sure they'd like to read it.) This is about as disgusting as a book can get, but there was nothing criminal about the book or Amazon's publishing of the title and a link to purchase the book. The general public was perfectly within their right to vote with their feet (or in this case wallets) and tell Amazon that they would boycott the entire website until the book was removed. And it worked, as Amazon later removed the book from its website.
Now here's why I think people are stupid: they whine, cry, organize boycotts, facebook groups and 'alert the media' over a book that describes adult/child interactions (with good reason), but will do nothing and even defend actual people who are physically molesting children (and adults) on a daily basis (WTF!?!?). Sure, there's been some blogs set up, a few lame attempts of 'coverage' by the MSM and the backlash is growing, but that it has taken years and is not uniformly accepted that getting naked or felt up simply because you chose to fly is ridiculous.
We have the power and can stop this madness, but as Lew Rockwell points out, we must not relent !
E-mail your friends and family, warning them of what they will face when they fly. Call, write and e-mail airlines, travel associations, travel agents and any business reliant on air travel and air travel tourism. Individuals don't have massively overpaid lobbies to fight for them; businesses do. Use that leverage to your advantage and vote with your wallet.
And don't let anyone try to tell you that getting naked or being molested is alright, as long as it keeps 'us' safe; those people are stupid.
